My opinions about our 396k class

As time gose by, one semester has come and passed so quickly. I have to say: I really like this class. Before I took this class, I had heard a lot of 396 class from senior students. They told me that it's a really interesting class and you will not have a lot of pressure from this class. Moreover, you can learn a lot of things useful from this class. We learned how to use facebook, dreamweaver and moviemaker in this class, which are really useful for a international student. Furthermore, we also improved our English levels a lot from this class. Our teacher is nice and classmates are friendly. We had a lot of good time that did project in group. We knew how to do a team work, and how to make our works perfect. I also think that it is an approprite class for ELP students, because we can adapt college class here, and it is not so difficult at the same time. I believe it will make our future sutdy lives easier.

The challenges for the final project

As time goes by, we've learned a lot from our 396K class. We knew how to use many softwares which we need to know. We know how native speakers communicate which is helpful. We knew how to do team work which is nesessary. We knew how to finish a complete project by ourselves which is a wonderful experience. When I saw the word "final", I couldn't be happy at all, because our 396K class really gave all of us a lot of fun, and I don't want to face the end of all of them. Ok, let's come back to our topic: the challenges for the final project. Rick and I are in a group, and our topic is jeans and Nike shoes. Jeans is Rick's responsibility. Of course, Nike shoes is my part. To be honest, I don't think this topic is difficult for me, because I really like and know Nike shoes very well. If I had to say something for this topic, I think the hardest thing for this topic is how to find some interesting information about Nike shoes. Somehow, I can't just find some pictures for a lot of shoes. I have to find some specific information about this topic, like the history of Nike company, the style of Nike shoes, even some deep spirit which Nike shoes want to express. There is another thing which is hard to me. I will have to get 125 grades for this project, because I had lost a lot of grades in the past projects, which made me dangerous to get a A for this class.

Favorite Place-----New york

In last spring break, I went to New York for vacation with many ELP classmates. There are a lot of great places in New York. We went to Time Square, Statue of Liberty, China Town, the Wall Street and 5th street. All of them are wonderful places for any visitor. I'd like to introduce these interests to you. Time Square is such a famous place. Every one who went to New York must come here. You can see how crowd and flourishing it is when you stand there, and you will understand why New York is the biggest city in the world after you went to Time Square. I heard that many many people will come here when New Year is coming. I believe it will be a great and touched scene. Statue of Liberty is also very famous. It is considered as the symbol of New York. The most important thing is not only how beautiful it is, but also how meaningful it is. The China Town in New York in much bigger than the China Town in Chicago. As a Chinese, I can find my favorite food there. The Wall Street is the fanancial center of this world. Many big companies have office buildings there. And it is also a part of culture of American economy. Finally, I will introduce my favorite place to you: 5th street. You can find everything you want to buy at 5th street. There are a lot of fabulous malls and stores there. However, we just had 2 hours for 5th street. What a pity!

My friend----David

Actually, I have a lot of good friends, but David and me have a lot of things in common, like our experience, personality and hobbies. Both of us spent most of our high school time on girls and basketball. It makes us don't have enough time to study, but we still have good grades on exams. I guess that is because we are clever, ha......In high school, we don't have so much pressure like other Chinese students. On the other hand, we spent all of our free time on basketball groud and hanging out with girls. Moreover, David and I have a lot of things in common about our personality. Both of us are optimistic people and we think we should enjoy our simple lives. In our opinion, we can't control bad things when they have to happen, but we can control ourselves to enjoy every happy moment we have. Furthermore, we have many same hobbies. Both of us like to listen to musics. The only difference is that David is a really good singer, but when I am singing, every body will want to scream and escape......Basketball is another thing both of us love very much. When we have free time, Playing basketball will be our first option to relax ourselves and have fun.

Yesterday, I feel really tired when I came home. I couldn't stop myself going to bed. I thought I will wake up much more earlier, like 9 or 10, but when I wake up, it was 6:30 in the morning. I still feel sick now, just like my throat is burning......I am going to die I think.
I want to tell you guys a thing which making me very excited. There is a concept car called Corvette Sting Ray which is made by Chevrolet. It is really fantastic!!! Looking at its the wide shoulders, sculpted fender forms, side air extractors, piercing nose, and of course, the legendary Split-Window, don't you think it is the coolest car? And there is a new about this car made me happy: it will play the role of “Sideswipe” in the upcoming film Transformers II: Revenge of the Fallen. I'm really a fan of Transformers, so I expect the coming of this film and this car.

The person who influence me most

For sure, my father is the person who influences me most. He taught me everything. He let me know how to do everything, starting with how to walk and how to speak every simple word. He help me face everything difficulty and let me know how to overcome every problem by myself in the process. Basically, he gave me everything I have. He gave me my life, letting me can enjoy my wonderful life. He gave me food and cloth to let me feel warm and safe.
He also taught me many thing by what he did. My father came from a small village. He could go to college just because of his diligence and intelligence. As he came to Beijing, he even didn't have place to live and money to buy food. However, he never gave up. He kept fighting for our family, because he is a responsible man. Finally, he became a successful business man. He let me know if you want to achieve something, you have to pay your hard work and insist to do it. If you want to be successful, you have to know how to bear a lot misery in our lives.
So, my father is the person who influenced me most!

My most embarassing experience in the United States

Oh, I hate to talk about this, my most embarassing experirence in the United States. I think it should be an funny mistake in an American restaurant. One night, I went to a restaurant called Round the Clock with my friends. When the waitress asked us what to eat, I said Sousage. If you have eatten breakfast in PUC, you will know that lady always ask you " Do you want sousage or ...?" By the way, the breakfast in our college is really fantastic... So, I think sousage should be a kind of food. OK, waitress looked atonished, she asked: are you sure it's all you want? How stupid I was, I still didn't realize there is something wrong. I said: yes, I'm sure..........When our foods came, all of my foods are just two little baked meat. I swear I can eat 20 of that things once...I started to know sousage is just a kind of little meat...
